Short-Term Engineering Intern

Completed my engineering internship at ROKETSAN and gained industry experience in defense design and manufacturing standards. Prepared and delivered a detailed in-unit presentation/report covering munition types and certification requirements.

08/2024 — 08/2025

Long-Term Mechanical Design Intern

Mountain Labs Teknoloji A.Ş. · Kocaeli, Gebze

Completed a long-term mechanical design internship at Kocaeli IT Valley. 
Worked on-site 24 hours a week for 8 months and 16 hours a week for 4 months.

  • Joined a project targeting international markets from the concept design stage; ran the CAD and rapid prototyping processes and completed the product's full R&D cycle.
  • Took part in the design and improvement phases of a device developed for the domestic market and contributed to the successful completion of its R&D process.

Research Title: Design of a TPU-Based Vibration Damper for Rocket Subsystems
Industry Advisor: Dr. Caner Gençoğlu, Unit Manager of Sensor Systems, Roketsan
Academic Advisor: Asst. Prof. Saeed Lotfan, Gebze Technical University
Under the guidance of my advisors, I conducted and reported an R&D project on an innovative damper design addressing vibration problems in rocket and missile systems. I carried out the mechanical analyses, design optimizations and prototyping of TPU damping materials.
